Advanced Placement (AP) Classes
AP offerings begin in 9th grade, and we have a 57% pass rate in 9th grade. Students can choose from up to 14 AP courses by the time they graduate as seniors, including:

Life Experience Lessons & College Experience Lessons
Through our hallmark “Life Experience Lessons” (LELs) and “College Experience Lessons,” students access horizon-broadening field trips, see endless possibilities for their lives, and know that all opportunities are available to them. RKMS’ incoming 9th graders experience a beginning of the year LEL, and all students experience a grade level end-of-year LEL.
Free After-school Programs
Include clubs, tutoring, and HOLA music.
Community Service
RKHS students completed over 4,000 hours of community service last year.
Sports & Clubs
- CIF Sports, including: soccer, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, tennis, cross-country, and track.
- Arts, including: Performing arts, arts integration (including visual arts), dance through Gabriella Foundation (including Latin Dance and Hip Hop), and music performance (2018-2019 elective course)
