At Stella High Charter Academy (formerly known as Bright Star Secondary Charter Academy), everything that we do is about building a strong community and strong relationships so that our students thrive.
We are a small school where we know every student, and support each students’ academic and social-emotional needs individually. After graduation, we continue to stand by our alumni with up to 6 years of individualized higher education support.

Our robust program includes Advanced Placement (AP) college preparatory classes, dual enrollment college classes with our partners at Los Angeles Southwest College (LASC), performing arts, competitive CIF sports teams, and opportunities to travel outside of Los Angeles and California so students experience the world beyond our classrooms.
Through rigorous academics, social-emotional support, inclusive education, and rich life opportunities, we prepare all students to succeed in high school, higher education, and life beyond.
At Bright Star Schools, we encourage students to embrace school as family, and it is my hope that you consider the Stella High family as part of your own.
