Bright Star in the News: 7 Grads Receive Multiple Degrees!

This year’s high school graduations are even brighter! In early June, seven Bright Star Schools graduates from Stella High Charter Academy (SHCA) received college degrees along with their high school diplomas!

Our students – six seniors and one junior – participated in SHCA’s dual-enrollment program with LA Southwest College. During high school, they worked hard to excel in both their high school and college courses. All earned associates degrees, with some students earning multiple associates degrees! All were accepted into top four-year universities, including UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, UC Davis, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where they will begin as juniors this fall.
